Mesh filter elements of WF-S series are protective elements. It is allowable to reuse these elements after removing mechanical contaminants accumulated of the filtering partition. The filtration partition of the mesh filter elements is made of woven chromium-nickel steel mesh and a drain (supporting mesh). It is star-shaped around a reinforcement in the form of a cylinder, cone, or a truncated cone. Moreover, the filters may have additional internal and external shields. Direction of flow of the filtered medium may be inside or outside the filter element. They can be used for various media (liquids and gases).
The structure and physicochemical properties of the filtrating material ensure:
- low resistance of flow,
- high mechanical resistance,
- high chemical resistance,
- possibility to filter liquids with high viscosity,
- wide range of the intercepted contaminant grain size,
- possibility to clean the contaminated filter,
- extended service life.
Mesh filter elements are manufactured as series of types corresponding to the following filtration accuracy values:
25 µm, 50 µm, 80 µm, 100 µm, 150 µm, 200 µm, 250 µm, 300 µm, 400 µm, 500 µm.
