Water filtration chambers

Water filtration chambers are used to filter the process water.

The filtration chamber is a pressure tank DN 400 equipped with inlet port and outlet port DN 200, positioned on three legs. Impurities contained in the filtered medium are intercepted in the chamber and retained in the filtration basket ensuring filtration accuracy in the range 1000–100 µm. The device is additionally equipped with the oil drainage and chamber venting system.

The chambers can be manufactured as per individual customer orders. Therefore, the number and configuration of subassemblies mounted in the unit can be different.

The water filtration chambers are pressure tanks subject to compliance assessment according to Directive 97/23/WE of 29 May 1997 according to the Ordinance of the Minister of Economy of 21 December 2005 on fundamental requirements concerning pressure devices and pressure device assemblies.

Full-flow water filters

Full-flow water filters are designed for intercepting solid contaminants from water. They are used as line (protection) filters e.g. upstream water coolers.

Depending on the operating conditions on site, we offer two series of full-flow water filters: WFPP (single-chamber) and WFPPD (duo — twin-chamber ).

For the systems where cooling water can be supplied intermittently, we propose full-flow water filters of WFPP series. The filter comprises a single filtration chamber and removing filtrated contaminants from the filtration basket is carried out with the system being temporarily deactivated.

For systems working continuously, where the line filtration process must not be interrupted, we recommend water filters of WFPPD series. This is a filter comprising two filtration chambers inlets and outlets of which are joined by means of three-way valves activated by means of a water flow controlling lever. Such solution allows the maintain continuous flow via: 1 — the left-hand-side chamber, both chambers at the same time, or 2 — right-hand-side chamber.

The full-flow water filters of both WFPP and WFPPD series are equipped, as a standard, with manometers, drainage ports, venting ports, and filtration baskets mounted inside the chamber.
